Comedian Eddie Izzard four-day whistle stop tour of the UK part of the Yes vote on Thursday ahead of AV support for the campaign as was in Cardiff Bay yesterday afternoon.
Izzard, a fervent Labour supporter, said he accepted that the Labour Westminster Parliament for the way we vote was split to change.
But he said: “It’s a fairer voting system than we have at present, and it’s significant that it’s opposed by the Tories, who are said to be providing 99% of the funding to the No campaign. They opposed votes for all men in the 19th century, votes for women in the 20th century, and now they’re opposing a fairer voting system.”
